Victorian Collections Cataloguing Workshop

The hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the principles of digitisation and collection management.  Participants will learn how to catalogue collection items using the free, online and custom-built Victorian Collections cataloguing system.  

Victorian Collections workshops offer a relaxed and open environment and cater for participants with any degree of museum and computer literacy, as well as ongoing cataloguing support for community museums, and small and medium collections.

Morning tea and lunch are provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking.

Digital Storytelling

Make a digital story for an exhibition or online content. Using digital photographs from your museum collection and a story script that you have prepared, make a digital story you can take back to your organisation, and put on display or upload to your website. Participants will learn to use Sony Movie Studio software to create a photo story with recorded narration and music. Presented in Collaboration with the Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne.
