This workshop will develop your skills in identifying significant collection items allowing prioritisation of the collection for grants and conservation works. The complex world of copyright will also be outlined particularly in regards to historic collections and putting images and information online. The workshop will be hands on with significance and copyright information explained by Peta Knott who will then lead discussions to work through issues pertinent to the groups attending. By the end of the workshop, participants will each have written a significance statement for a collection object and will have worked through difficult copyright issues.
